A Living Anthology of Polemical Literature

The online anthology The Arts of Autonomy: A Living Anthology of Polemical Literature provides basic editions of polemical texts. Pamphlets, open letters, manifestos, and polemical statements inherently pose specific risks to scholarly work, not only because they may be subjected to indexation and censorship, but also because they are often poorly edited and difficult to access.

On this page, we provide basic, quotable editions of historically important polemical texts, as well as occasional, informal commentaries on related genres and themes. This online anthology is expanded on a rolling basis.

Our project website is available here.
